The flavor is okay… to be honest, despite the nuts and the “delicious-covered” raisins (not sure what they’re covered in… “delicious,” I guess), if you blindfolded me and told me it was a bowl of Raisin Bran I wouldn’t have any reason to doubt you. Still, if you like Raisin Bran–and I do–that’s not a bad thing.

Nice variety of textures. The flakes are crispy, the raisins are chewy, the nuts are crunchy… it works really well together as a whole for a fairly “simple” cereal. And the flakes stay crisp in milk for a surprisingly long time.

Visually, it’s a little interesting. There are actually more nuts and raisins in each bowl than other cereals that feature nuts and raisins, and it’s nice that you can actually see them. Plus the delicious-covered raisins (again, whatever that means) and nuts stand out nicely and keep it from being just a big bowl of brown shapes.

Once again, a pleasant surprise. A “boring,” adult cereal that has a lot more going on below the surface than you’d expect.
